Prairie View serves as the Community Mental Health Center for McPherson
County and offers a complete range of behavioral and mental health
services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. A multidisciplinary
team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and
community case managers work together and with community agencies,
referral sources and others involved to develop an individualized
treatment plan for each person.

About
Prairie View
Prairie View has six outpatient locations providing
behavioral and mental health evaluations, medication management
and therapy. Prairie View Process Solutions Group offers workplace
services including consulting and an Employee Assistance Program.
A 38-bed psychiatric hospital, intensive residential program, special
purpose school and a partial hospital are located on Prairie View’s
main campus in Newton, Kansas.
